A Marvellous Second Life

We’ve all got a few pieces in the back of our wardrobes that haven’t been worn in years. Maybe they don’t fit quite right anymore. Maybe your style’s evolved. Maybe they have been loved for years but are now beyond repair. Whatever the reason, we’ve teamed up with Sympany to help give your old or unwanted garments a second chapter.

How it works

Step one: Drop-off

Bring any clothes you no longer wear to our MR MARVIS store on P.C. Hooftstraat 21 in Amsterdam. It doesn’t matter what the brand, size, or season is – just pop them into the dedicated reclamation bin.

Step two: Pick-up

Sympany stops by regularly to collect what’s inside. They are experts when it comes to sorting and recycling garments, with facilities throughout the Netherlands.

Step three: A new life begins

Your garments don’t just vanish. If they're still in good condition, they'll be passed on for someone else to enjoy, with all profits going to Sympany to support their reclamation projects across the Netherlands. If not, they'll be recycled into new fabrics or even upcycled into entirely new items.

Why a reclamation bin?

At MR MARVIS, we care about what happens to clothing long after it leaves the shop floor. Our garments are built to last, because we believe that clothing items should live long lives.

By collecting your old garments in our stores, we’re helping to keep materials in use, supporting smarter ways of producing fashion, and encouraging more mindful fashion habits.
